another life story

So, yesterday was the end of my holiday. My sucky holiday. Truly my worst holiday ever.
Monday - went on to rush some work that has to be pass up for the group on Tuesday.

Tuesday - was on the way to the business strategy group meeting; actually I was at the meeting place already, just to find out that the meeting change to Wednesday. GREAT. Cancel my tulip farm outing as well because I thought I got meeting. Went on to spend the rest of my day to search for the tea party dress.

Wednesday - Group meeting for half a day at Julian’s house. I got the feeling that I didn’t contribute enough for this subject. Cancel my trip to royal Melbourne show as it is too late to go there by the time I finish the meeting.

Thursday - Went to school from 10am-4pm for the Career in Curriculum (CIC) lecture. Will elaborate more of this subject later on.

Friday – Still the same thing went for the part 2 CIC lecture. Then later night went for a dinner.

Saturday – Was rushing out AND I FORGOT TO BRING ROOM KEY OUT. GREAT!! Went down to the reception wanting to ask people to help me open the room, but they only open from Monday to Friday. So I don’t care about it first.
Went to Michalle’s house to change and dress up for the party. It was kind of weird when we were on the way to the party. 2 girls dress up in cocktail dress walking on the road in the middle of the day. And became people’s attention.. Hahas..
The tea party was in a I guess is a 4* or above hotel’s atrium. Not too bad. Everyone dressed up so nicely. Kind of feel a bit underdressed.. But everything went on smoothly. At that point of time I realize how amazing people to people connection is. Social networking is really important. And 我觉得我一直以来是个井底之蛙。外界的人原来比我想象中的不可思议。个个都好成熟稳中, 才华横溢。再看看我自己感觉上比不上他们。还有很多要学的，有点自卑。
Eventually the party end nicely at 5. Went back to Mich house to get my stuff and trying to spend my time there as I knew even I came back home I won’t be able to rest at my room.. So before I went home I went over to jeananne’s house. To borrow paper and pen. It sounds weird la, but yeah paper and pen to release my boredom later and also to do my work.
Finally went home and strat my camp at my living room. With 2 living room chair as my bed, and TV as my only entertainment.

Sunday - Still camping at my living room. My body is like aching all over and feel so sticky because no towel, cant bath. Really really very shag. End up was trying to do work but got distracted by the TV.
And finally

Monday - Holiday is over, room door is open. Time to rush out work and clean the house.

Yesterday went to footscray with JeanAnne and her housemate to buy grocery. There got the market place and I guess cheaper to buy vege and fruits stuff there. But too bad don’t know why when we reach there most of the place was close. Only a few shops open, so we just randomly walked and went into any available shop. Brought a week food supply as usual.

Actually was thinking to join Michelle to Melbourne Royal Show after the grocery, but the time is too tight, so decided not to go. But I really would want to go there and see see. It opens only for 2 weeks.So have to go there before 28Sept.

On the way home, JeanAnne n her housemate invited me to their house for dinner, and they would be having TomYam soup for dinner.. Haha.. So yah why not, rather then everytime eat alone at home.

Anyway today is the start of the one week break. Nah what kind of break is this. Giving up all sort of trip because of school work, like tomorrow, there is this tulip farm trip but can’t go because there is group meeting.
But anyway school work is priority though~~ So work hard Effie, if you can’t work smart.
Yea, if I can’t work smart, I have to work in harder way so that to make myself smart.. Haaz.. Never mind, I shall continue the preparation of tomorrow’s group meeting.

On Saturday, I got a sudden urge to eat cakes, so went to this cake shop and order these 4 cakes at one time, the waiter there kind of shock as well why we order so many cake while only 2 people eating. In the end we can’t finish all the cakes. Haa..

Saturday..

Went out with Stephen to the city as well as dockland there. Went to eat at this Greek restaurant at the city there.. Not too bad the food there, but too bad didn’t manage to finish it because the food portion is just too big.. So went on to dockland and visit his friend’s house for a while. The apartment there has a really nice lobby interior and unusual security system. And last but not least shopping.. Brought some summer clothing. It’s on SALE.. haha..

Was the mid-autumn festival.. Alone at home.. Doing studio projects.. Very sad..
Monday..
Continue on coming up good concept refinement for the Studio Project which is due on Wednesday. Seriously I was stuck in coming up with good ideas and it took me the whole two days to come out with something that seems to be good enough to present.
There isn’t any casual consultation in the studio project, which makes me sometimes unsure what I am doing is right or not. Erm no more spoon-feeding basically. It’s like here you can do anything and everything but must be backup with the research.

Tuesday..

School time, having a group meeting, a tutorial and a lecture and end at 630 then went to Stephen’s house to stay there overnight to rush for the Studio project as he is helping me on doing the mockup. It’s really scary that until midnight I still don’t have anything on my presentation board and no mockup yet..

Wednesday..
Finally manage to finish the entire presentation item in the morning, and I still can go home for a bath and go back to school again. So yeap presentation went well.* Cheers*.

Later at the end of the day, went to the Chadstone there, as they are having this sale that only last for one day. Went there quite late though only manage to walk around for one and half hour. Actually was thinking of getting my tea party dress on that day, but I guess I am too tired that I didn’t buy any single thing there.. lol.. And went home at around 12.
Anyway because I am not sure how to go back from chadstone, I decided to take taxi together with Michalle to glen Waverly first. As I am more familiar how to go back from there. So the taxi actually reaches her house first and drops her. The taxi fare was $25. She went on to ask the driver to drop me at the train station which is just in front, (5 mins walking distance). So I thought it is just on the way, But I was wrong, that that freaking short journey cost me another $4.. Yea is as though I am being charge as a new customer.............

Thursday..
I was telling the workshop staff that I will be coming at 845. However I came only on 12, which is like super late la..Didn’t manage to wake up so early.. And was being chased out from the workshop half an hour later for the lunch break. Kind of panic. Because I heard that need to hand in the mockup for this manufacturing communication and the lesson start at 230!! So I did one small and not so nice mockup, as in how good can a rush out mockup be.. In the end.. the lecturer is like didn’t even really look at the mock up.. zz.. Rush for nothing..

Finally Friday!!..
An early day.. Didn’t want to go home so early so I called up my cousin to bring me somewhere to go.. Went to BoxHill.. There the place is super Asian la.. Mostly Asian food, stuff, restaurant, etc there, and also the inside building is like a market place. Now I know where to go and buy grocery already.. Hahas.. After thathe brought me to Hong Kong Jade to eat. Inside it’s like a HongKong café house la.. Eaten fulfilling meal there~~ Went on to explore more of BoxHiill.. and then went to city to window shop a while..
And finally Home Sweet Home..

Next week is my semester break.. Only one week.. And currently its full of school work already..
Tuesday, have Business Strategy group meeting at Julian’s house and also need to finish up System and Services stuff and email it to the group.
Thursday and Friday have this compulsory workshop for graduates, and need to go back to school again.

Another Long Long Post.......

I was in my room doing projects, while taking a few minutes break from the work,i saw this beautiful rainbow appeared from my window. I hurried down to the balcony and took the picture. Soon enough the rainbow faded away..

Had been quite busy with the school work these few days, and was expecting weekend to faster come. But now, weekend already, don’t know what to do...

Time flies, one week after one week and its already week 5 now… Next week gonna be week 6!!! Haiz.. I enjoy the time in the school though… Meeting new people, all that.. The workload is okie.. soso la. Just that i need to improve on my interaction skill. Yes.. Talk more.. talk and talk and talk.. Silence is awkward seriously.. Not only in class, discussion, presentation, casual talk, etc the more things i talk the better it is.. Just talk anything and everything under the sun.

Duno why but on Tuesday I was like super stress, confuse and really lost.. Don’t know what to do.. Sudden feel like giving up on everything.. Maybe I just need a rest.. and don’t think too much.. 有时候真的不必在乎太多，约在乎的多约放在心上，变成了一种负担．

Been having presentation since last few week. and I realize how bad is my presentation skill.. omg.. Another thing to improve on it.. Before the BIG presentation come..
So from now on Friday will end so early, because no more workshop lesson.. It feels so weird to go home at 1130 in the MORNING.. I really need to find something to do to fill up my Friday.. A job maybe, a part time job.. in a café house or in a cake shop!! =D So obsess with cake these few days..They are just so beautifully presented and you won’t bear to eat it. This weekend I am goona go and get myself a really nice cake~~

Anyway did I ever tell u that I got a really unhygienic and irresponsible and ungrateful housemate. She came home once per week and mess up the house and I have to clean up for the mess she made... This week is the most annoying one.. I didn’t get a chance to talk to her, because she always came home when I am not in.. So that day, when I came home I realize the heater was on.. She didn’t even bother to off it.. What if I didn’t come home for that day and the heater will just on like that the whole day, the whole house will be so stuffy.. Then.. I walked upstairs, and realize eh how come the cubical toilet’s door is close??. Cant b somebody inside.. And I found out that she didn’t clean the cubical after she shit, and leave the shit mark on the cubical.. So,am I the one going to clean it?? ..Then.. Move on to the showering toilet, she put her cosmetic all over the table.. So whats that means, am I look like a maid for you and help you tidy up your stuff?? Such an irresponsible housemate.. I need a better housemate for real.. or I am going to move out next year..
Eh Jonna coming next year right!!?? If you don’t mind wanna be my housemate?? LoL

Its weekend again.. not sure where I will be going for this weekend. Maybe explore more cake at those Italian/France restaurants.. =D Forgot to mention that last week went to Melbourne aquarium. Quite small though the aquarium, but overall it’s not too bad. After that went to the crown the casino here.. Didn’t go into the casino though just walk walk outside. And played the virtual roller coaster in the arcade..

Mmm, well I need a partner to accompany me to go anywhere and everywhere I go. Now it is like weird, walking alone exploring places. If feel that it is still more fun to go out in a group or so.. Haa.

Yeap so long long post with so much complaints and thoughts and no picture.. Very dry...

Oooh great… I didn’t attend any of the lecturer for this week.. Due to the workload and all that presentation preparation I had.. so deiced to just skip the lecture..

Anyway yesterday was the last lesson for the workshop induction program.. From next week onwards can go home early already on Friday~~~
So in these four weeks they show us those common machine, how to operate them.. the safety precaution and so on.. got to see how 3D printing work as well and how to put the glue to harden the product from 3D printing.. Yeap.. nothing much new for me in the workshop, except for the grinding machine, where you can actually use it to grind the surface of the old/recycle wood, so it looks like a new one again.
Just found out that the blue form here is super hard la.. It is so dense that when you squash, it won’t leave any dent. I think gonna have hard time to sand that blue form.

Workshop attire, apron and goggles. Looks like I am going diving like that.. Lol.. gonna just wear my contact lens next time so can wear the normal goggles.

After school when home to rest for a while and then go out again to meet Dk and her friends for dinner.. gt to know Dk from the workshop lesson.. Went to Sofia restaurant at Camberwell there and heard that this restaurant is famous.. The food portion is really big here.. So we just order a 3 in 1 plate pasta, salad, pizza, seafood platter and a cup of ice cream for 9 of us to eat.. Haha.. It looks like not enough for 9 people to eat hor.. but then.. in the end there is a lot of left over. Spend around 4 hours eatting, gossiping, have fun there.. And finally done our dinner at 11+...
Walked fast fast once I got out from the train.. because during weekend night there are a lot of drunk people around the road.. But lucky my house is very near the train station.
No time to rest first once I got home. Got to clean up all the mess that I’ve done in this whole week. =S

So this whole week is all about presentation…

Yesterday present the 5 mins pitch for design and business strategy subject. Kinda screw up the first sentence when it comes to my turn.. Hee.. was quite nervous that time.. But slowly get into the situation.

Same thing, 5 mins presentation for studio project today. And guess what.. my thumb drive suddenly just died when I was trying to upload it on the main computer… ARGHHH!!! Why everytime this kind of stuff happen to me!!! It was fine in the morning, where I still can edit my stuff in school library. But don’t know what happen my thumb just didn’t work when it comes to the presentation time. Was really panic at that time.. and this presentation cost 20% of the project marks somemore.. So I rush back home to get my file, and rush back again to school.. Took me one hour.. But luckily I came back on time and still manage to see some of others presentation.
Anyway, I feel very out from the overall presentation. Because I just scan my sketches and just put it in the PowerPoint and didn’t do much about the background, rendering and layout stuff like that.. I didn’t expect that most of the people actually illustrated or even model out the product use CAD, nice nice rendering by Photoshop all that. Then I look back at my presentation slide I feel like I didn’t put much effort on it......

But overall my presentation content is alright. It is in the right direction~ Just need to refine it.. Anyway I am getting the hang of how to present project here already.. Hopefully next submission or presentation I won’t be “different” again…

So…. Got to start working on my sketching skill again.. My sketching is still very weak.. I wonder when I can sketch and render nicely like the way Kelly, LD, Wira, JW they all… Haiz… Anyway… gonna start practice drawing from now on…
