No camera is allowed during the parade. But it is basically watch the penguin coming onshore. They are sooo tiny la. Anyway there is stated there that before you actually drive off your car, you have to look under the car first, in case the penguin is hiding underneath. Haa..

I know suddenly got so many to blog, really so confusing and I don’t really know where to start.

Oh btw I got myself a job at one of the shop at Chinatown there. Basically selling phone cards, handphone accessory and prepaid Optus service. The job is quite manageable for me as it is only 4hrs/wk.

It’s just that the challenges are about getting the right card, right price, right calling time duration, right country and last but not least right language.

I am so envy of my colleagues, they can speak so much language, as in not only those basic Chinese, English, Canto and Malay, but also others alien language which I don’t understand (that’s why I don’t know what language it is). I bet they have worked there for some time, yah because they said they learn those language form the costumer also.

Tomorrow another working day, gonna perform better than last week. Guess what last week, my first day of work, just nice I was down with fever. Ugh!

So.. basically I have fully recover from my fever!.. ahah.. so happy.

I went to the school nurse today to confirm whether or not my fever still there, because I keep on feeling warm around my forehead and neck. But then the nurse was like telling me it’s the weather that is getting warmer these few days that it affects my body.

Anyway I am really loving school this semester plus the fact that I only have two days in a week. The reason is because I think the subjects for this semester is much more interesting, exhibition design, manufacturing and furniture design. Although exhibition design will be a big challenge to me, partly because exhibition is actually a core module for the interior design course as for industrial design course it is an elective, so I bet those interior student will do better in this?? I don’t know but yeah getting away from just designing product did motivate me a lot.

As for furniture design subject, the classes and assignment had been pretty interesting since week one. Last week went to National Gallery Victoria to visit those historical furniture, and we have to actually sketch those furniture on spot.. Err which is okie.. I know I need lots of practice for my sketching skill.

Move on from that, this week assignment is superb interesting! Have to build a cube(10x10x10cm), 5-sided pyramid(10x10x10cm) and a sphere(d 10cm) from a 250gsm paper, without any glue or tape, just plain paper.

Fun right!! Haha.. I have already thought of ways to construct all of them. Basically I will post all the process of my furniture design subject to a blog. This blog has become my portfolio for furniture design subject throughout this semester. Save so much money in printing for all the submission! Will just have to blog and blog for this subject…
